Applying for Admission to Student Support Services?
Student Support Services is excited to announce that our application process is now available online for the 2017-2018 academic school year.
Student Support Services is a federal TRiO program funded through the U.S. Department of Education. Selection into the program is contingent upon meeting eligibility criteria and space availability.
SSS is a federal grant program whose objective is to assist USU bachelor’s degree students who are U.S. citizens and/or U.S. residents who meet residency requirements for federal student financial aid. Participants must have a demonstrated academic need and come from first generation or low income families and/or have a documented disability. Documentation of eligibility is required. Verification of citizenship/residency status will be verified through the USU Office of Financial Aid for all students who completed a FAFSA. If you did not complete a FAFSA or status cannot be verified, documentation will be required.
Before applying, please check your USU Banner Information page to ensure you are a bachelor’s degree candidate enrolled at the USU Logan campus. If you are admitted to USU as an associate degree candidate, you are encouraged to apply to SSS upon transition to bachelor's degree status. As part of the intake process, your university records will be reviewed.
